“This is an investment in our most valuable resource”, says Tonn Ostergard, President & CEO of Crete Carrier Corporation.  “Our drivers are some of the best drivers in the industry.  They put in hard work to help make our company the best, which is one of the Seven Principles we are founded on.  We lead the industry in CSA scores, retention, our gold standard benefits package, and now pay. So we are investing in our people because they are our most valuable resource.”

But Crete and Shaffer didn’t just stop there.  Drivers are also guaranteed detention pay.  Waiting for shippers and receivers is often very frustrating because it can feel as though a drivers time is not valued, but as a Crete and Shaffer driver you will be making money while you wait.

In addition, you can now bring your pet on the road with you!  Your furry companion can help you navigate the highways from your front seat.

So if any of this sounds exciting to you, we encourage you to talk to one of our drivers.
