What’s a Rolling 12?
- a. Dice game in Vegas
- b. Box of donuts
- c. Easy way to know your pay
If you’re a driver for Crete Carrier, Shaffer Trucking, or Hunt Transportation you probably know the correct answer is “c”. But what does it mean for you?
Your Rolling 12 is a snapshot of your total compensation over the last 12 consecutive months. Weekly pay can fluctuate due to circumstances outside of a driver’s control. By looking at his or her Rolling 12 a driver can quickly see how they’re doing over the last 12 months. The Rolling 12 number reflects TOTAL compensation. That includes all the types of pay that go into a weekly check, plus bonuses, profit sharing payments and more.
“I like setting goals and want to better myself every year,” says Crete driver Jeff Tetzloff. “I like the Rolling 12 because it’s an easy way to keep track of my progress.”
To see your Rolling 12:
- 1.) Open the Crete Carrier Transflo App.
- 2.) Touch “Driver Reports”.
- 3.) Touch “$ Compensation Report”.
You’ll see your total compensation report, which reflects your compensation for the current calendar year. On the right side of the report is your Rolling 12.
