EMERGENCY KIT

HOW PREPARED ARE YOU FOR THE UNEXPECTED?

Keeping a well-stocked emergency kit in your vehicle is a great idea.

WHAT TO KNOW ABOUT EMERGENCY KITS

  • Emergency kits vary in size and scope, but many of the basics that are nice to have in a pinch do not.
  • Consider including a first aid kit, jumper cables, portable air compressor, flashlight, small jack, and some basic hand tools – such as a screwdriver, pliers, and a small shovel – in your vehicle.
  • Having a rain poncho, extra warm clothing, and food and water available in your car is also a great idea in case an extended breakdown on the road occurs.
